We have the very hard to find CUCV direct drive starter bracket support (Part Number 14028931). New Old Stock (NOS), genuine GM part!
Note 1: Due to many requests, we now offer the hard to find bolt for the bracket to the block and the nut that attaches the bracket to the starter. Select the checkbox to add it to your order.
Note 2: This bracket will only work if you are using a stock direct drive starter. The gear reduction starters use a different bracket. If your starter looks like this: CUCV 24V Starter It is a gear reduction style and THIS BRACKET WILL NOT FIT.

Hard to find Starter Support Bracket
This was a very hard part to locate, I tried 9 other sites to locate this bracket, as the above description says,,,, it is a very HARD Bracket to find, even the wrecking yards don't have, it was NEW and perfect condition.

The part did not fit because I did not realize I had a gear reduction start, all my fault. It was however close enough that I modified it and was able to make it work, a band saw, a drill press and presso a brack

Make sure
This part was very hard to find. All places said discontinued but the Wizard had it. My fault is i didn't know the new gear reduction starters are different that O.E.M. and bracket was too long. New time I will call first to get proper help.
