Here is the solution to the common failure of the CUCV glow plug circuit card. This is a custom designed replacement with upgrades over the stock card. Fits all CUCVs. Has functions for your choice of flashing wait to start light and steady wait light. Also has the option to switch to hold plugs longer for hard to start engines. LEDs are a great addition for diagnosing problems with your glow plug system. Instructions for the card are included. No modifications needed to install this in your CUCV!
We recommend this card over imitation replacements and even the original glow plug controller. Note the features listed above! The features on this card are not available on other cards. You'll love the LEDs for diagnostic purposes!
Replaces 12034592 .MODULATOR ASSEMBLY
Check the CUCV tech manuals for troubleshooting procedures however in our experience this is what we check/replace when having trouble with the glow plugs:
1. Glow plugs themselves (a continuity check will tell you if they are burned out, no continuity = burned out)
2. Controller Card Shown here. A button cannot re-create the functions handled by this card.
3. Solenoid/Relay on the firewall.

Must Have-Great Product !
This is the starting point for repairing a glow plug system. If it does not fix the issue, it helps identify other problems as you can use the LEDs to watch it function. I have purchased two of these recently, and both times it was a breeze to install. I have two cucv's here that both start easily in 20 degree weather. Thank you John for your help!

New Glow Plug Card
That new card worked perfectly right out of the box!! And the LED lights take the guess work out of function testing! If only the factory units had been this dependable the Army might still be using the CUCV with the 6.2!!

Great Product at a Great Price
I recently acquired an M1009 from GL that I was in the process of shaking down. While trouble shooting the Glow Plug system I inadvertently damaged the original controller board while trying to remove it, apparently it had been in there for a while as it was basically corroded to the contacts. After removing it I was stuck with a cracked board. I found this product thru a quick search and was pleasantly surprised at price compared to others on Fleabay and others. Once installed the LED's , not present on the factory board aided in the trouble shooting process and basically acted as a separate set of hands, as are sometimes needed. Shipping was fast and I was kept up to date on its progress. Can't ask for much more. Thanks for a great product.
